Hollywood Outing

Yesterday I had a "Hollywood Outing" with my sister Brittany and her friends Tiffany and Zach.

When on a little hike to go see the Hollywood sign closer. We got half way and decided to turn around cuz we had a bunch of other things to do before the sun went down. Had a great time in the sun!

Disneyland day!

Hebrews 11:13 (The Message)

 ^13-16Each one of these people of faith died not yet having in hand what was promised, but still believing. How did they do it? They saw it way off in the distance, waved their greeting, and accepted the fact that they were transients in this world. People who live this way make it plain that they are looking for their true home. If they were homesick for the old country, they could have gone back any time they wanted. But they were after a far better country than that—heaven country. You can see why God is so proud of them, and has a City waiting for them.

(This verse helps me remember that where ever i go i need to be living by example and hopefully lead people to this exact way of thinking and believing. I need Jesus with me where ever i go)

Today i went to Disneyland with my sister and our friend Zach

This is my sister before we eat this amazing desert at the Jazz Kitchen in Downtown Disney.

Tomorrow we are gonna have another amazing adventure spending the day in LA. If God wills it, we will do everything we have planned :) Thank you Lord for allowing us to do all these fun things. Keep us in prayer that God will bring people in our path to talk with them about Jesus.

Bike Ride to Fullerton

Colossians 3:15

Let the peace of Christ keep you in tune with each other, in step with each other. None of this going off and doing your own thing. And cultivate thankfulness. Had an awesome day! It was seriously beautiful outside.

I begged my little cousin to come with me and by the end of the day he told me he had a lot of fun :)

We at first rode to Fullerton to meet up with Sarah at Cafe West for some awesome fellowship. Also......BEST ICED COFFEE EVER! I forgot to take a picture :(

Then right next door was an awesome Lebanese restaurant called Les Amis. Im telling ya......It was delicious! Look at our food below! 

My cousin got the spaghetti and inhaled it! It was gone in SECONDS! haha

After that we headed home and stopped at Starbucks to end the night. 

We rode 10 miles today and it felt so good to be outside all day. I cant wait to do that again. I wonder what God has planned for me tomorrow! 2 more days of vacation for me, then back to work......

God made everything beautiful in itself and in its time

So right at this moment i was thinking why certain things haven't happened in my life yet. And why i had to go through certain situations. It wasn't really thoughts of being discontent about them....but just thoughts to get me wanting to understand (to the best of my ability) to trust God for my present and future. A lot of things that have happened in my life is simply for growth experiences and the things that haven't happened can go two ways....
1. Being afraid to fail at it or
2. Im just not ready for it yet.

So as i want to grow in Christ today and tomorrow and many days to come, I need my Lord and savior to 'Grant me freedom to walk a new path'. Im tired of my same day to day life. I want more of a freedom in Christ kind of life! For when i fail or fall, i can get right back up and know my God is right beside me cheering me on. And i will 'have the courage to change what i can, wisdom to know the difference'.

Philippians 4:13  'I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.'
This verse needs to be mounted to my heart and soul. I need to believe that even though With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” Matthew 19:26


So i guess what im getting at is im a bit of a coward. But now i want my life to be different and less coward like. haha you know? More courageous like. So now that means getting out of my comfort zone....oh goodness this is gonna be a biggie. But thanks be to God....In His strength i can shine. and His strength is made perfect in MY weakness. Oh reliance..... a good thing for a believer. I am useless with out my savior.  Thank you lord for saving little ol me :)


Continue to boldly believe what Christ can do and everything will fall into place....Gods timing is beautiful

Yogurt Soda???

Yesterday Amber and i had an outing together and ran into her dad at a grocery store. Ambers dad was hungry and he wanted us to join him but we already ate at In N Out earlier so we sat with him as we had a drink. I saw this yogurt soda next to the register and had to try it! I had a feeling i wasn't gonna like it very much so i got an orange soda for back up. So long story short....me and Amber opened it and already started gagging! The smell was so bad it seemed like it was rotting! hahaha! but we still had to try it....well it was as bad as the smell or maybe even worse. We had Ambers dad try it and he said he liked it and it was ok! hahahaha! We got a little worried for him. He didn't want to finish it so he told us he wanted to trick ambers brother with it. haha so that was my story on our gross yogurt soda tasting.

Oh and by the way i know plain yogurt is bitter. But this stuff really tasted rotten though. haha

3 hours @ Starbucks

That is the view i had sitting at Starbucks for 3 hours. And for those that dont know...i work at the theater. Not always the greatest view for me. haha

This morning i woke up and really wanting to have some fellowship with people but God had another idea. So when i got off work i realized i really needed to be on my own in a public atmosphere for some reason. If i was studying my bible and reading.....i dont want to do it in private during certain times.....soon us Christians wont be allowed to do any public anything anymore(in ways about our faith). So i really need to take advantage of being a Christian out in the open. All in all it was a great day....even work wasn't so bad. God taught me a lot about who i am and how i need to change and grow.

After Starbucks i went home and Sarah and Robert came over and we sipped on coffee enjoying each others company. Sarah just lost her Mom to cancer a few days ago and miss Sarah is one strong woman of God. You can see how God is using her even through the toughest of times. Its a bit of a relief to see a few of my friends seeking to have a better relationship with our Lord and Savior. I rarely get to see this happen and its a wonderful thing to see :)

Mmm Thai!

Days dont always go as planned but they sometimes still turn out awesome! Like today :) Me, Lindsay and Robert got Thai food, went to McClains and then went on an awesome walk around the Fullerton neighborhoods. (Oh and by me saying not going as planned is that i thought we were going to Disneyland but Robert doesn't have a pass like me and Lindsay).

Mmmmmm pad see ew! All 3 of us got the same exact thing. haha

We were there talking for a while and the lady that worked there gave us free strawberry ice cream!

Well dur....of course we go to McClains!

I became a paparazzi haha. I warned them before we hung out that i was gonna do this to them :)

Robert didn't jump cuz while he was trying to get on, it was making sooooooo much noise that we new someone was gonna come out! And they did but we were already a few houses down when they walked out to see what was happening. Lindsay and Robert blamed me that it was my fault cuz i kept taking pictures. haha

Robert saved this cats life by air kicking it out of the street cuz a car was coming fast down the street.

So....all in all....today was a good day with great friends and good fellowship.

Gonna wake up in the morning and listen to some Amy Grant and read what ever Gods puts on my heart to read and then go to work for a few hours. Im tired and thank Jesus for being in my life.

P.S. I need to start blogging with some verses.....ill do that in the morning if i have time.
